Yesterday I had a free day , so I decided to visit the ZOOLOGICAL garden in Ibadan to see the condition of the animals there and how well the zoo is functioning ....

Entrance fee was #500 for adults and lesser for children, so I and my friend paid #1,000, bought drinks at the tuck shop and headed right in.....

The environment is serene and has greatly improved with linking walkways and new pedestrian bridge and lush green atmosphere..

I noticed the gorilla i normally see is missing and I was told it died years ago, also, most of the animals are in good condition except for some lion looking skinny and not agile enough, but all the same , the experience was nice...

The zoo is now looking scanty as most cages are empty with animals..

It's a nice location to hang out for a first date , you won't need to spend much and you have a lot of time to talk and interact with nature...

You can budget #2,000 to plan your trip to the zoological garden if you're within Ibadan ..

It was here one Christian fanatic attempted to shut the mouth of a lion.

He did not factor in that the lions Daniel slept with had eaten before God shut their mouth.

The story ended poorly for the Okrika Daniel.
