Their action has betrayed them.

Now, other regions can't trust them. Especially the North
It will pain you to know that majority of ibos does not believe in separatist agenda being propagated by Kanu and co. The attitude and body language of the Buhari led government has made many of them including other parts of Nigeria to be sympathetic to them. The failure of your Government to address so many ills in the society is what is fuelling all these separatist agendas and you should already know . Can you beat a child and expect the child not to cry? Hell no. Ibos should be given a chance to rule the country already to greater heights!

Whatever be the fault of Buhari, Osibanjo should share in the maladministration. He seems to hide in the background when you expect him to rise up. He appears sneaky and dodgy...maybe it’s the situation he found himself in or could be some self preservation technique and trait.

There have been numerous occasions when the Abba Kyari’s, Garba, Munguno seem to have usurped his Vp seat and he did nothing...when Buhari wasn’t there, it was Buhari’s relatives making decisions and running the country down...statements would come as ‘the presidency’ and not the president or Vice President. Northerners wouldn’t allow that if Osibanjo was the president and Buhari as the VP.

Osibanjo appears scared to tackle vital issues. He seems to be someone who is comfortable doing his job at the background. He is not confrontational or seem to lack an activist personality needed for that role. He appears like a Jonathan...someone whose position is bigger than him and who couldn’t take and confront events and take decisive actions or face someone and address and tell them off. He appears as someone who wouldn’t want to offend anyone...bless him. I have lots of respect for him but I don’t think he would make a great president without succumbing to unnecessary interference from people who helped elevate him to that position.

Incessant kidnapping and invasion of schools, Fulani banditry, bokoharam, cows all over the place, destruction of farmlands, jos, benue, Enugu invasion of fulanis, responses by the locals and the arrest of locals by police and soldiers while fulanis roam free, endsars etc....Osibanjo is part of it and not just Buhari.
Legally, the VP is just a spare tyre to the President. Aside heading the Economic Council which he sits with Governors to discuss the economy of the country and advise the President on the outcome, the VP has no constitutional role except any responsibility assigned to him by the President. So do not expect the VP to be seen to be challenging the President, he cannot, he has no power to challenge the President. Buhari prefers his people over his VP, but that does not mean that we should close our eyes to the quality of the man called Osibanjo. He has the brains we need, he lacks the corruption baggage that others are carrying, he is a decent person that will redirect this country to the part of equity and justice.

Peter Obi is a bus conductor I guess grin

Peter Obi is the most suitable presidential material we currently have in this country. Osinbajo that was there during endsars and did nothing is who you guys are trying to sell to us. Nigerians una never learn. Sometimes I think you guys are cursed to always be ruled by the wrong leaders. Una mumu never do
Good, but just tell us what Peter Obi did during endsars.
Ordinary twitter ban, Peter couldn't confess to tweeting when asked on TV.

FYI, osinbajo already restructured SARS while the agitations were not widespread, only for his boss to return and things go back to bad.
Also, endsars panel statewide was PYO idea

Peter Obi that could not even add votes in SE for Atiku/PDP in 2019 against 2015 is the person that will win national election in Nigeria?

Until we start thinking of candidates like Peter Obi, Akinwunmi, okonjo, moghalu...
People who have track records, we are going to keep being in this merry go round.
Its true that they are not very or strongly 'political' which may be the reason why they can't play the 'game'. Talking intellect tho, they are up there.

people should stop mentioning Okonjo, she is disqualified under the constitution. Moghalu/Akinwunmi are political lightweights..at best ministers. You do not win a presidential election in Nigeria as a political lightweight unless you are annoited like Jonathan. Peter Obi got less votes in Anambra in 2019 than jonathan in 2015 and nobody is voting for him outside the SE.

Nigerians should first of all outline the challenges facing the country, most of the names on these list are Capitalist and proteges to the oppressors.

Anyone that cannot rejig the governance structures erected by the elites and political oppressors should not lead Nigeria in 2023.

Nigeria needs a REVOLUTION and obviously non on this list can do that because they are beneficiaries.

All I see here is selfishness. So Yorubas are bent on producing the next president even when northerners have already spoken up for Igbo presidency?

Very unfair for my Yoruba folks. Support Igbo presidency.

One problem with SE is they dont have any visible candidate of any stature that is respected and has appeal OUTSIDE the SE. If you look at their main political actors, they are either confirmed buffoons like Okorocha, perceived clowns like Obiano or Ikpeazu, or people like peter Obi and Soludo who have no appeal outside the SE. their biggest political star with broad appeal is probably Orji Kalu and he is damaged goods. The kind of person that could have been a formidabble and credible candidate is NOI and she is now disqualified under the law!

So Buhari is/was a better candidate than all the Igbo candidates you mentioned..

My Friend go and sit down and stop being tribalistic

Ngozi Iweala
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
Kingsley Moghalu
Oby Ezekwesili

The president and vice should be taken from these list.

My Friend go and sit down and stop being tribalistic

he is because he won!!! Twice!!!!! winning elections is about electability, elections are about numbers!!! i.e will this candidate get the votes? its not about whether you are smarter or more capable of governing than the other candidate!!! you have to win an election 1st to govern!!!

The north can field any idiot and win once they have an ally in one other zone. Buhari won without SE and SS votes. Southern candidates need to have National appeal. obasanjo won despite not being the SW candidate BECAUSE HE HAD NATIONAL APPEAL!!!! Local champions from the south have NEVER won a presidential election in Nigeria so nobody cares if you love peter obi or whoever if he hasnt got national appeal he aint winning any election!!!! Stop being so emotional and use your heads, listen to people when they give you advice and stop being abusive idiots!!!! .....thats why SE have never produced a president in 60 years!!!

If you like continue to abuse and continue to lose presidencial elections for the next 60 years, those who have candidates with national appeal and not local champions will continue to see presidency before you.

You think Tinubu wanted to align with Buhari? Weve all seen the comments he made about Buhari before they joined forces but he knew that unless you win an election, you will just be in opposition making noise. Buhari has appeal in the north, Tinubu had appeal in the SW, they combined and they won. whether their government is good or not is a different matter...but they won!!!! twice!!!!!

So if you like continue to tout ibo candidates that have no appeal outside ibo land and be wondering why presidency continues to elude you.
