As a software engineer / developer you get a new laptop, what are the applications / tools you would install first? what are the applications you almost can't do without everyday as a developer? Mine in no particular order: Chrome ( Obviously) PHPStorm, Pycharm (as a jetbrains fanboy) Vscode ( for Javascript / Typescript projects) Slack, Skype ( you know why) Sourcetree ( Git Gui) Sequel Ace ( Database management app) Notion, Clickup ( Project management, Docs) Postman ( Api development) Others: Docker Proxyman Over to you  4 Likes |

All4good: Well i see no need for those options, i don’t use them. Although i have Git, i can jump onto any tool if required for a project. Those i listed are my daily routine. Means i write errthing. 1 Like |
