No matter what, wailers will ALWAYS wail.
No matter how good the news is.
Especially the ones about killing all terrorists, bandits, gunmen in our nation.
Reading of bad sad news about deaths and blood are the ONLY thing they wanna see, the only thing they wanna hear, the only thing they wanna view.

Anything about neutralizing all murderers and killers make them sad and wail.
Just like when our Darling Daddy said the military should shoot at sight of any evil herdsmen and any terrorists carrying AK-47, they cried and walked for weeks after the statement.
What manner of people they are.
Shame.

Abi, some of us warned when they went for American arms, once you are not towing the American agender, they sanction you.
Just watch and see, the remaining tokano yet to be delivered don enter voicemail.
Imagine if the $800m used for tokano was spent on MI 35s, su 25 frog foots?.
Better still if they had taken half of that cash to Putin to beg him to unleash his bombers on Boko Haram and bandits. 24 hrs non stop bombings
Just 1 krasnopol laser guided artillary from 20 kilometers will decimate with pin point accuracy.
Better still a $200m contract could have been given to executive outcomes ie Andrew Barlow (South African mercenaries) to decimate Fulani bandits and Boko Haram.

Nice move by PMB!

Why be in bed with the west that claims to be the moral compass of democracy when you can Look east for real allies!

I trust Russia more than the United states and Britain

Africa is the last man standing from British and French colonization. The evil British colonized over 50 First nations of Canada stealing the land of the natives, the evil British colonized the American native Indians. The evil British colonized and took over Australian native lands. The evil French are trying to colonize African countries as we speak. The Americans invaded Afghanistan. Germany invaded Namibia. England invaded Kenya and Nigeria - these guys are not our friends but inferiority complex wont let Nigerians see it.

The issue is most Nigerians are stupid and foolish always talking down on the government.

I congratulate the Muhammadu Buhari administration for strengthening ties with Russia.

With the help of Russia, the French have been driven out of Central African Republic and Mali.

you are a wise man. we have better alliances by focusing on real allies who are not the West.

The signing ceremony, which took place on 23 August 2021, was witnessed by the Nigerian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, His Excellency (Prof.) Abdullahi Y. This Agreement terminates the earlier Agreement between the two countries signed on 6 March 2001.

In a related development, declaring open the 7th International Military- Technical Forum -Army 2021 on 23 August 2021, President Vladimir PUTIN of Russia stated that "Massive mutually beneficial portfolios of contracts for the supply of Russian military goods are concluded on the forum's sidelines every year". According to President PUTIN, "The forum has on display over 28,000 units of modern military arms and equipment ranging from small firearms to artillery, tanks, and military combat aircraft. Our army and navy are being modernised at a fast pace as they receive the latestgeneration military assets. For example, the share of modern weapons.

Afghanistan has 400,000 soldiers yet the country was taken by Taliban who has at most 75,000 fighters.

How was a nation taken with little or no blood shed?

The story goes back to early 2000's

When US and NATO defeated Taliban

Many of the Taliban fighters did not run out of Afghanistan..

A lot of negotiations took place with tribal leaders of these fighters.

As a result many of these fighters simply dropped their arms and were recruited into the Afghani Army.

They remained in the army waiting for a day US will leave Afghanistan.

They got promotions, training, ammunition and money from US for those 20 years legally.

As soon as US left, they simply went back to what they have been doing ...although now as the nation's power brokers

The former Taliban leader is now the Head of Government of Afghanistan.

That is what Boko Haram are doing with this surrender and forgiveness

They are doing "if you can't beat them, join them"

Sadly, Buhari and his Top military echelon are in support of it

Recruiting Boko haram straight into the army.

Those Boko haram boys are getting trained and they are waiting for the day they will unleash their terror.

You think the Minister of defense was joking when he said in an interview that

A REPENTANT BOKO HARAM CAN ONE DAY BE THE PRESIDENT....

That is the plan.....to turn this nation to an Islamic Emirate.

You might think ....it is not possible.

But look back at what you said won't be possible before 2015.....are they not our reality today?

Wake up !

There is fire on the mountain.

my people learn from syria

anywhere Russia enter civil war follows then the mutherfuckers will start their military hardware sales

i wonder when nigeria own go start !

the signs are everywhere

Your comment is false.

The Syrian Civil War started in 2011 with the Arab Spring which was sponsored by an Alphabet agency from the United States that starts with Letter C.

When the situation was dire, the Syrian government asked for military assistance from the Russian Federation. The Russians obliged, came in with heavy equipment and blew away all those terrorists masquerading as freedom fighters and restored the territorial integrity of Syria.

Hence, there is peace in the land except for the enclave of Idlib which will be dealt with soon.

Thanks to the peace that the Syrians are enjoying, they are no longer in the top headlines of the "terrorist loving international news media".

So get your facts right. Russia didn't start the Syrian Civil War and Nigeria won't face a civil war either.

This is a good development and will lead to improvements in our military with regards to training, arms and equipment.

Nigeria should have and maintain bilateral contacts with both West and East.

It is also good that the Russians are taking more interest in Africa.

Peace.
