So everyone knows that the economy right now is not too good and the prices of food stuff just dey fly go heaven . However is it still possible to Cook with 2000 naira or less in Nigeria ? If yes please drop a meal and how you'd purchase it's ingredients with 2000 . It could be anything from cakes to pastries to soups , anything at all . Lets share the Knowledge . |

2 Spaghetti for the family: 1. Spaghetti * 2 = N600 2. Pepper&Crayfish. = N200 3. Fresh Tomatoes. = N200 4. 1 Satchet Tomatoes. = N100 5. Groundnut Oil Satchet = N100 6. Salt&Maggi. = N100 7. Onion. = N100 8. Egg (Boiled) * 5. = N300 Total = N1,700 Procedure 1. Dice the onion, pepper, tomatoes, and crayfish 2. Heat your oil, add onion, pepper, and crayfish and fry for 1 minute. 3. Add fresh tomatoes and then Satchet Tomatoes and stir for about 5 mins. 4. Add salt and seasoning cubes and stir. Do not add water at all 5. Pour in your already parboiled spaghetti and stir. Allow everything to heat on low heat for 2 minutes. 6. You can pour in diced carrot and green beans or any vegetable if you like. 7. Serve with your boiled egg God bless 2 Likes |

Peanut 2 cups 280
Dry ground red pepper N 50. I prefer the packaged type
PALM oil N150 You only have to use half or less
Onion N50
Ginger N50
Iru (locust beans) N100. fresh one o
Bitterleaf N100
Ugwu N 100
Garri N 400 half paint
Seasoning cube N20
CRAYFISH 150
Fish N 300 maybe panla or smoked shawa
