Nigerians students studying abroad do well mainly because only the bright students gets scholarship to study abroad in the first place.
And even in that abroad only good students make the news, the ones not doing well are totally ignored.

Yes. I formerly was among the set of "school na scam". But education is key. Nigerian youths are just lazy and I see in the future so many of them regretting not going to school or not giving school their best shot. It's just a cycle our parents time we see some of their mates lamenting how they wished they had gone to school. This will be hard to break because they all believe education is a program 'go to school, graduate and get a good job'. And whoever fails to accomplish this program is seen as a failure by societal standard. But education is about acquiring knowledge and sharpening your brain to be able to navigate through life successfully. We need to start educating the kids properly so as to break this cycle.
