What Does The Bible Say About Infertility? by articleme(m): 6:47pm On Sep 05, 2021
In this article, I will be using bible verses mostly King James Version except otherwise stated to answer questions on What does the bible say about sexual relations between couples and infertility. Let’s go!

What Does The Bible Say About Marital Sex?

There is much more more to marriage than sex, however sex is an important aspect of marriage and it should be enjoyed. Sexual acts between married couples are the focal point, the symbol, and the physical expression of the leaving, cleaving, and becoming one flesh that define the very essence of marriage.

Genesis 1:27: “…..male and female he created them.”

Gen 2:24 English Standard Version “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”

Mark 10:6–8 — New Living Translation (NLT) “But God made them male and female’ from the beginning of creation. This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Since they are no longer two but one”

1 Cor 7: 3-5 NLT “The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife. Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control.“

It Is therefore safe to say sexual union is essential in marriages which is not a sin
