People that are screaming have no idea. That car, naija used is 900-950k in PH right now. If it's very sharp, 1m. You guys have no idea about what your président has done to nigeria.

shipping and clearing is not cheap the car maybe 2002, shipping from savannah GA is $1350 this car is going to be clear for 450k or 500k
The expenses of shipping and clearing alone will be like 1.2m. So how much is the car from usa .

So the selling price is OK ....

He was not saying any truth.

During Jonathan's time, that car was selling for 700k.

2 years ago, I bought a 2007 camry for 1.5. I almost sold it for 2.5 early this year. My challenge was getting more money to buy a new car. You can't compare the exchange rate 2 years ago and now.

E clear say u never buy car recently!
As at 2018 that car was already in the range of 1.2 to 1.3m! when voltron was around 2.5/2.6m? I bought Lexus ES350 2007 model as at 2018 for 3.3m! Go check the current price of Lexus Es350 07. Don't just stay on nairaland throwing insult up & down, go car stand make u hear price!

My point exactly. People stay online arguing, not knowing that things have changed tremendously out there. 2008 new camry was 4.8m. 2021 new camry 35m. What changed. Naira to dollar exchange rate etc.

You can't get tokunbo of this car at 1.3m now considering the current exchange rate. Even during Jonathan's tenure, this car sells between 1.250 and 1.3.
If 2003 Big daddy could be sold at 2.1m presently, it means 2001 camry will be between 1.6- 1.7m.
can you by a Nokia N95 for 80,000 because that was the price in 2012

It's because its not your area of specialization.vehicles are very dare these days especially with the unstable exchange rate. Presently, this car is sold between 1.8 to #2m

I sold a tokunbo Toyota Highlander 2007 with 3 rows and fabric for #2. 450 last year, surprisingly with the present exchange rate it's now between 3.6-4M. Get ur fact, no be to brag. Your food stuff, is it same price you bought last year? What's the inflation rate

OP..the price is fair if it’s a clean titled vehicle.
Assuming purchase price plus freight is $2500 with the clearing cost of 550k in naira then 1.9M is a good deal.

GEJ time .... 2013 ... you paid N850K. 2013 ... average exchange rate N160 to USD1. Cost of your car ... USD 5000. 2021 ... car for sale ... N1.9M. Exchange rate N500 to USD 1. Price of car... ........USD 3 800. Where is the madness? Here's one in similar for sale.... abroad... how much should he ask for?.... after paying for shipping,? customs ... ?
Lol! Nigerian car dealers don't import these types. No Nigerian car dealer would touch that car on the advert with a berg pole, even during the 'glory' days of Jonathan.
