On a sunny day, in the 80s a Peugeot 505 evolution car pulled at my Dad shop at Mission Road Igoli Ogoja. Few military escorts and this man walked into my father's shop and the rest is history save to say my dad made a sell of over 2000 naira supplying huge electrical items spanning weeks. It was nice knowing that was Col. Anthony Ukpo.

Each time a helicopter hovers around Igoli town, we all know it is usually him and we'll race to the bishop court to welcome him. Those days to disperse the crowds of children for his helicopter to land is another headache.
His elder brother was Rev. Joseph Ukpo, the bishop of Ogoja Diocese.
