You are the perfect poster face for the collapse education structure in the country if you don’t know that this question is a practical question meant for the students of that department.

This is simply a very good case study question to test the students comparative mental skill and knowledge. And as a faculty of arts students. They are expected to be aware of public activities and figures. Only if they don’t want to practice in the field

This is the department of English and Literature, faculty of Art for goodness sake. Obviously there is a novel which has a Cubana-like character which is part of the books recommended to them for the course.

Thank God there are people like you that still reason.

An abstract and shallow mind would only try to connect the monetary aspect of the ceremony and ride with the wave of

While a critical thinker would do a mental comparison of both characters beyond throwing of money.

See this illiterate gworo chewer trying to diminish the educational standard of South East. Interestingly, you come from a region education is Haram but give filips to insurgency and banditry.
Ndi Dot is far ahead of your impoverished and illiterate region.

Don't mind him. It's becoming a trend to cast aspersions at Nigeria for any perceived defect at all. It's become almost automatic for many of these young guys to see only negatives in things concerning Nigeria without seeing the faults in themselves...

Your response is apt and perfect.

I see nothing wrong in the questions asked. Such questions test the IQ of students to know how they can compare the various characters and apply the lessons learnt.

There are no right or wrong answers in such questions however, the students must be able to convince the examiners with their submissions and postulations.

I enjoyed answering such questions during my university days.

Nigeria educational structure has collapsed years back.

Why did you say that ? The question is only expecting the qualities or features that the character in that book shares with Obi cubana. That character must have been taught to the students and they are being tested on how they can relate to obi cubana. I don't see anything wrong in that question.

This question is a very good one,to check the comparative ability of the students and equally build their congnitive and effective domain and equally challenge there pyschomoto ability.it also shows the currentness of the lecture.

there's nothing wrong with that question. It's literature. It's normal to compare real life events with arts.
Framing a question like this automatically neutralise any form of expo the students might have copied and hidden in their laps as the name Obi Cubana automatically throws them off balance
Re: Obi Cubana On UNIZIK Exam Question by Sopu: 9:37am On Sep 08, 2021
I like this question, most students gossiped about Obi Cubana but never take an interest to compare or apply it to knowledge gained from literature. Perfect question, perfect department and school location.

BornorBang:
Nnamdi Aizkiwe University, UNIZIK, Awka has set an exam question on the Nigerian business mogul, Obi Cubana. Again, Obi Cubana makes it to UNIZIK exams question as a case study.

Wahala for serious student wey no dey watch film for this exam ooo. Lol

I wish both of you would really know that the essence of education is to give you skills with which you can tackle real life issues. Real educationists will teach you theory in class and then give you practical case studies to test your level of understanding of the subject. If all you know is theory and you can't apply it or relate it to real live event then you've really not learnt anything. Go do MBA tomorrow and be expecting theory for exams

Sadly most first class graduates fall into this category

If you ask me, English language is the most difficult course to study in the university.

If you are not creative and a voracious reader, don't even bother..

I doubt if uniben have ever had a first class student from that department..

Once. He died soon after the first class some 28 years ago.

But that's what most lecturers do. They access their ability to reproduce as exactly as was contained in their lecture notes. At the end, the students can't even apply their so called first class to real life issues
