However, 1Gb there is not up to $27. It's 2,000 CFA which is N1,900 i.e $4 or thereabout. Used to be N1,000 before Buhari.

It is very cheap in Nigeria...and no, I am not here to tell you that we must pay what they pay in other countries..or that MTN must increase their charges for data..

The evidence is clear. Nigeria has cheap data. As much as we like to pretend it is expensive...it is very cheap.

Hopefully, government should do the needful and attract more investors...to add to the number of GSM companies around...so that we pay N200 for one gig of data.

Yea, you are right no written fact to counter but where I was, 1gb data is less than 1$. Broadband was very much available, people care less about capped data. Therefore, when someone says data is cheaper in Nigeria than Angola, it doesnt sound nice to my hearing. This is similar to someone saying Nigeria is like Afghanistan and second terrorized country in world then I come to Lagos, stayed one year and left. When you say that again, I will also doubt you because, there was no terrorist attack through out my stay in Lagos, you only hear it in the news.
