how profitable is chilli pepper farming?
is it a profitable farming venture or not just that profitable.
am in Lagos and a friend of mine is looking to invest heavily on chilli pepper farming
i want to know if there are steady buyers for it or not.
although pepper sells well but i don't really know of this chilli pepper
please how profitable is it here in Lagos?

he is correct guy... the afang leaf is called okazi in igbo...it is used to make okazi soup....the difference is that, in afang soup, the okazi has to be pounded before it can be used for afang soup.... but in making okazi soup, u dont pound just slice it and no water leaf is needed as well, u use soup thickner ( achi, cocoyam, etc) to thicken the soup

So if the op should remove the water leaf and add the thickner, it would have made a perfect okazi soup since he did not slice the okazi/afang leaf in the first place.......u can only understand better if u are an igbo person

This is not afang oga... I just remember say na yoruba guy cook am....yoruba people and watery soup (omi obe)... afang soup is ment to be thick...

Hahaha the guy just messed it up! Afang leaf is supposed to be pounded after slicing, and yes, the soup should be thick not watery.

If you eat Afang soup prepared by Bayangi or Ejagham people of southern Cameroon, mehhn !! You will not like to eat this one prepared by the Efik . They don't add that water that is added at that stage, the water they make use of is the one from the water leaves, and palm oil. So dry, oily and delicious. I can say this because I have ate both severally from childhood. The Afang prepared by Bayangi and Ejagham people of southern Cameroon test better.

You're camera did not do justice to that food. Also Afang soup is an expensive meal no be only Pomo you go use cook am if not it will not make sense

You try! Coming from a yoruba chef! Kudos! But the afang leaves have to be pounded and its too watery so you ought to have increased the afang leaves added.A 4/10 is a fair score...

This particular soup is known to consume lots of red palm oil but all I am seeing here is a mini jacuzzi filled with aqua.
