Read well again. CBN didn’t suspend any of their accounts. Stop feeding us with lies. Take time and read the statement and stop this sensationalism.

If they are found to have been manipulating figures and involved in currency speculation they should be dealth with squarely.
The rates were going ballistic and causing spiralling of inflation.
Be that as it may, emefiele and Buhari should also be arrested and prosecuted if same is to be done to the owner of Abokiforex. It's their archaic, military era monetary policy they both started in 2015 that got us to this deep mess.

Abokifx is just a website giving out updates on fx on daily basis. They can't manipulate the currency

My questions have been;
1. where was Aboki FX getting the rates they update on their website from?
2. Where are those Abokis on the street still get the Forex from since CBN no longer sell to BDCs..
3. Why is it that when you go to Banks they still claim they don't have forex?

Who is deceiving who here.

usless economic terrosit firm .why not publish daily rate for the parallel markets in UK. Where the firm is located why target vulnerable developing nation with huge structural problems .why add to the misery to make dirty profits. Any body that what to know the rates in Nigeria should ask the central bank of Nigeria. Approved by law to determine it .

Ahmed Ibrahim, calm down and spell correctly. Stop using bad spelling to pollute this place.
If by next week rates don't crash, your foolishness will be exposed.

This might be necessary somehow. Let CBN on the other hand ensure they officially update daily rates on their site.

"We sincerely hope this suspension will lead to the appreciation of the Naira from next week" - the article said.

This is the best masked sarcasm I have ever seen. Of course, the free fall of the Naira will continue until the government allows market forces to determine the exchange.

The numbing incompetence of Buhari and his puppet CBN governor has been unparalleled since 2015.

Walk straight to Abokis selling dollar on the street they will give you rate. It's not a difficult thing to do.
90% of the time the rate is the same with
the one on abokifx.

Those Abokis don't know there is such a thing as abokifx. The rate is determined purely by forces of demand and supply.

I will call out any firm that sabotages Nigeria and think it's a joke anyway. And their supporters too. Some of us plan to live here and we are not leaving .

You are with the aboki people right? Pass my message to them.bunch of economic terrorists .CBN was right on this one,the real issue remains whats the official country approved source for their information.

U want government to fix the economy but criticize them whenever they try to do something useful for once.though buhari is still clueless sha
It was long overdue... they fg and cbn gave them the room for so long.... they have done more damage to the economy than any one can imagine... buhari was busying counting his cow when abokifx was busy damaging the naira.
