Unilag remains only School without Students union, as Yabatech lifts ban on it student Union

The management of Yaba college of technology students’ affairs earlier today released a circular to all student to notify them about the lifting of ban on student union activities.

News gathered that this ban of student union happened in the year 2015 by the school management due to the chaos and violence that marred the election which is supposed to usher in new administration.

The counting of votes was halted by the then school management after there was a confirmed report of gunshot fired on campus on the Election Day.

After series of meeting with the management by the students representative council and student leaders on campus the SUG ban was lifted even though this was not so an easy process.

It’s a new change for Yabatech student as unilag remains the only school without student union.
