Why have you leave it for this long without treating it? You can start using Shea butter and make sure you go and see a pharmacist.

The total solution is cleanliness, wash your bedsheets regularly and scrub your body while taking bath, it will just go in matter of weeks, medication without cleanliness is not the solution.

If you use body spray and bathing soap with high fragrance kindly stop it.
Natural black soap is better (those cheap ones they measure)

When you have the opportunity always make sure you keep the area wet, soak cloth in water and place it there, it will prevent the area from getting too dry.
Most importantly avoid product with high fragrance and irritants.
You can get coconut oil and be applying it on that area.

Other people could help you with other remedies but those ones above are so important.

It is Eczema the "Prolonged /Chronic type"... I was experiencing it mostly before on my back.. It always good to invest in a few changes like New fabrics different brand or type of fabric for Your Singlet , boxers, under wear, Covering cloth, bedsheets, duvet, . Note - While being clean is not negotiable, this has little to no connections. there are medical professionals, doctors who have eczema... There is sufficient reason to suggest Dryness of skin is partly responsible , so some soaps or Lotion are adviced to change.. so make use of intensive Care Lotion ( About 3 - four 400ml) which are non greasy Vaseline with organic extract like aloe to Restore and soothe dry skin, ensure you drink water, Eat fresh fruit and veggies , avoid excess Alcohol.. You can use the hydraulic oil and later wash off, then apply the Lotion for better results especially when going out for the day or before bedtime.. Do this religiously and thank me later..
PS Don't go back to your old fabrics, and cream and soaps.
