The sadistic motives of those behind the killing of Dr. Akunyili runs deep. Dora Akunyili had many enemies in and out of government. It is not enough that she is dead her family had to suffer. This was the same thing that happened to chief Abiola who was already incarcerated for two years before his wife was cut down by assassins bullets. The aim was to cause him pain. Where then lies IPOB motive? None as far as my rational thoughts can forcesee.

Was the man a politician? Was the man influencing the election in anyway in favor of a political party? How did IPOB come to the quick conclusion that he was killed by Anambra politicians?

Something is definitely wrong somewhere. The murder was probably a mistaken identity and now that the real identity of the victim has been exposed, those who killed him are now trying to distance themselves from the murder and point accusing fingers at others. Hopefully, the Nigeria Police force will commence investigation immediately and unravel the murderers and bring them to justice.
Why don't you guys allow the police to do the investigation first?

It is either a case of mistaken identity or a political assassination or perhaps someone who is envious of his business (Hospital's achievement).

I don't believe that IPOB or Fulani herdsmen killed him.

If it was Fulani, people would have seen them because that place I saw in the video is not that quiet that residents will not recognize Fulani herdsmen.

Also I don't know why IPOB would kill an industrious Igbo son whose wife was well respected and his family is a revered one.

The only way IPOB could be responsible for his death was if they mistook him for a politician because of the vehicle he was in and the personal Police escort.

They should conduct proper investigation into this very sad incident.
It could be that someone who knew his movement from when he left the event he went to hired assassins to trail and assassinate him.

It could be the government's plan to instigate the people of the East against IPOB/ESN.(when we kill their influential people and peg it on IPOB, Igbos will be against them)


We should be objective and unbiased there is more to this man's assassination.

There are levels to what I can believe, election is coming up in Anambra politicians can use such opportunities to eliminate their enemies and blame it on IPOB because the public will quickly buy such story, peoplegazette exposes something earlier from their investigation that it was Fulani herdsmen that killed him, now IPOB has issued a statement to that effects that they’re not connected, if the government can do a better investigation to uncover those behind the assassination until then the death is not pinned to anyone because the security agencies have done nothing so far but hurriedly blame it on IPOB, I can’t believe all these bullshit.

Laslas true will come out, before all the atrocities in southeast u were blaming herdermen, but now no herdermen in ur land but the atrocities has still continued. So now what ever ipob can say I will not trust them because the level of their cruelty is beyond all this, they can do more than all that killing.
