Blue3k: The situation the OP is envisaging (even though impossible) won’t even lead to a run off if it happens. It’s a case of voter apathy and not disenfranchisement. Since people can’t be forced to come out and vote, zero will be recorded for all the candidates in all the polling units in the SE and it will stand as legitimate election result. 2 Likes |

Lol! What's the point? Whether Igbos vote or not vote, NIGERIA has no future. It doesn't matter who is elected, at the end of the day, impoverishment of the masses will continue, Naira will continue to devalue, more bad roads, more unemployment. So what's the whole point? People saying the election will go on with or without Igbo votes, and so? It's not like the lot of the country will change. So why are you feeling like Kingkong or like you are doing Igbos any humiliation or harm by voting in another inept leader like the ones in the past? I remember when the mantra post 2015 was that Igbos no Sabi politics, say dem put all their eggs in one basket. As if to say that the rest of the country will buy fuel at different price than Igbos, buy food at different price, exchange naira at different rate, etc. As if all their roads will be tarred and they will now enjoy 24hrs power supply while Igbos will not. The level of stupidity in this country eh! I tire! 2 Likes |

seunmsg: Zero? Very unlikely since the candidates would very likely vote for themselves considering how much it cost to get on the ballot. They'd get their children and partner to vote for them to, so lets say at least 5-6 people would vote on each side, and that's if they have no friends or extended family who would also vote for them. Boycotting elections is like shooting oneself, a very silly thing to do considering one would have to endure the leadership of the voted.
