Charity, they say begins at home, that is why Otunba Abiodun Odutayo the Chairman Odutayo Iwogbe Foundation, has chosen to partner with the sports departments in some tertiary institutions in Ijebu region of Ogun state.
In preparation for the Gateway Tertiary Institution Games (GATIG) 2021, Odutayo Iwogbe Foundation has chosen to kit sport teams from Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic and Tai Solarin College of Education.
The Governor Abiodun administration is one that has the youths at heart and he’s making efforts to get the youth constituency productively busy through investments in Education, Information and Communication Technology, Agriculture and Sports. The honourable Commissioner for Sports, Dr. Kehinde Oluwadare in his speech at a press conference to flag off the fourth edition of the games at MKO Abiola Stadium Conference Hall, Abeokuta, Ogun State said the games are testimony to the fact that Governor Dapo Abiodun has an astonishing commitment to the development of Ogun State youths.
Otunba Abiodun Odutayo in his speech at the Oru Ijebu office of the Odutayo Iwogbe Foundation when briefing members of the foundation on the reason the foundation is going into partnership with the sports teams in tertiary institution said he believe in the vision of the governor that a greater and better Ogun state in achievable, he further explained that this is only possible when we all put our hands together to support our performing governor. He promised this is just the beginning as there are many more activities the foundation is planning to roll out.
