How do you deal with customers owing you for a while as a business person? What if most of the people who tend to owe you for over a month or more are your neighbours in your business place... neighbours who also sell their different commodities?

I'm beginning to feel it is a criminal act to owe your fellow seller when you make your own sales...and if they remind you (not even often), you keep postponing the imaginary date with “don’t be angry, I will see you” while you trade yours! What do you do in this situation? How do you collect your sums especially when you are the kind of person who has never recorded any debt profile with any of them while buying what they sell?
