Flying dreams fall under a category of dreams known as lucid dreams. Lucid dreams occur when you become aware that you are dreaming. Many dreamers describe the ability to fly in their dreams as an exhilarating, joyful, and liberating experience.

If you are flying with ease and are enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a new and different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power.

Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft or stay on set course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may be obstacles that you encounter in flight. These obstacles symbolize something or someone who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify what or who is trying to prevent you from moving forward. Difficulty flying may also be an indication of a lack of confidence or some hesitation on your part. You need to believe in yourself and not be afraid.

If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success. Perhaps you are not ready to take the next step.

In reality, we cannot really fly, of course. Thus, such dreams can be representative of things that are beyond your physical limitations. In your mind, you can be anybody and do anything. Another way of interpreting flying dreams is that these dreams symbolize your strong mind and will. You feel undefeatable and that nobody can tell you what you cannot do and accomplish. Such dreams are sure to leave you with a great sense of freedom.

Thanks so much @lagerwhenindoubt. You have really nail it all. God bless you real good.

I think I fall into the category 1: , right on top of a situation and risen above something. Why I said this is because all through my life I have developed this strong spirit of achieving my goals no matter the challenges. I also have this strong thing is me that ONLY ME CAN STOP MYSELF FROM ACHIEVEING MY DREAMS IN LIFE and not the HUMAN OR SPRITIUAL NEGATIVE FACTOR. And I must confess to you that this self-confidence and determination has really help me alot in life in life.

I became 35 years of age this month of May 27. And since 2004 that I started working (after NYSC), I have been having a fulfilling career at work place, I drive my own Car and my 4 bedroom flat is almost at completion stage. I am also blessed with a wonderful wife and lovely kid. I also need to say that I also live a quite and humble life.

However, I am not enjoying my present job and I recently went to another job interview (its more rewarding both in career advacement and pay-wise) and am expecting the result any time soon. I greatly look forward to clipping the job.

I am one person who likes to make meaning out of everything around me and thats why I decided to find the true meaning of this dream (even though its been like 6 - 7 years now that hve been having the dream)

I thank you so much for this revelation and it would further guide me in my life pursuit. May God bless you so much.

You don't need any interpreter of dream as a christian, if God was God enough to give you a dream he is God enough to give you the meaning. You dont use logic to interpret dreams. It will be fleshly. Besides it's not every deem that has meaning or interpretations . Many dreams comes as reflections of our wandering minds an sojourn transactions.

Ecclesiastes 5:3
3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.

^^^^^^ half truth,

reality; prophesy; part of it is dream.

Ibraham, Joseph [AS], dreamt.

Joseph [as] interpreted many dreams; both of believers, himself included and disbelievers.

True dreams are from God.
