How many times did he even get up on the floor of the Senate to contribute to the discussion at hand? Ori gbogbo yin yi gutter. [s] afube:[/s] When you get home, address your daddy as an ignorant sub, whatever that means. I don't give a crap whether his entire family flew fighter jets for Biafra. He was senator, what was his contribution to nation building. Maybe you should go to his house in Bayelsa and ask him that. |

Wiseandtrue: If "people" need to "understand these histories", then I'm sure "people" would be glad to learn it in school... Oh wait, history has been removed from school curriculum. Hmmm... I wonder why... maybe so that failed politicians like this can tell us their own versions without fear of contradictions perhaps?

idealogical: Same with the author of Half of a Yellow Sun. You really can't blame them. The Biafran propaganda machine, Radio Biafra, headed by the late Chinua Achebe was quite effective on its people. Till today, you'll see most of these young generation of Igbos spewing the same lies that Radio Biafra manufactured then. No matter how much facts you present, they'll never budge. You'll still see some of them insisting that it was Ojukwu that released Awolowo from prison. Etc 3 Likes |

TripleOh7: It is sad that what is going on in the SE today is a reflection of their propaganda they poisoned themselves with. The parent pass on propaganda, tribalism, bigotry and paranoia down to their children and their children pass it on to their own children and the vicious circle keeps going on and on. This is the reason why thy can not coexist peacefully with other people, their parents doing serious damage to their children. 4 Likes |

idealogical: The damage that war generation did to their future generations is unquantifiable, I swear. When you see them mouthing things like starvation policy, 20 pounds etc, just know that that's the ripple effect of the Radio Biafra war propaganda. It's the same propaganda that's fuelling the violence in the East today. The ESN or UGM or whatever they choose to call themselves seems desperate for a replay of the civil war. 4 Likes |

Davash222: Sharap ya smelly mouth there! You think war is to is 2 sit behind your phone typing nonsense. Have you ever witnessed any crisis with your own two eyes? Have you ever witnessed with your own two eyes people being killed and sliced and butchered? Have you ever seen dead bodies with limbs and heads missing littered all over the street? Have you ever seen with your own eyes a human being being killed and dismembered and watched it happen live? Have you ever witnessed houses being burnt to the ground with entire families and generations locked inside and burnt to death at once? Entire lineage lost. Have you ever smelt the stench of burning human flesh or rotten human flesh? Have you ever had money in your pocket or account and you cannot spend it and you are suffering from serious starvation despite all your money? No market, no school, no shop, no form of trade nothing at all to buy, nobody selling anything despite your money. I Can Bet that the answer to all these questions is a big NO. Someone once commented that if War starts, do you know that the clothes you are wearing presently will be the clothes you will wear for the next five years(if you are lucky to even survive the 1st year)? The night the war start will likely be the last you will sleep on a mattress. You family and loved ones will ALL likely die. Have you even ever closely followed happenings and images from war-torn countries? If you have not witnessed any of these firsthand then you have no right or business to be saying anything about war, your displaying your gross ignorance and shallow thinking War is the most terrible thing that can happen in any society there is nothing worse than War and it should not be joked with lightly. |
