Bakare Describes 1999 Constitution As A Glorified Death Certificate by Deltafirstson(m): 3:56am On Oct 11, 2021
Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCG), Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to spearhead the change of the 1999 constitution.

He said the constitution is the harbinger of the problem confronting Nigeria, describing it as “a glorified death certificate.”

Speaking in his state of the station broadcast, Bakare challenged Buhari to stop passing the buck to the National Assembly.

He asked Buhari to “tear down this inihibitive constitution.”
He said the 1999 constitution which started with, “We the People” was imposed on Nigerians by the military.

Bakare reiterated that restructuring of Nigeria and change of the constitution is more pressing than the discussion about power shift.

He also announced the formation of Nigeria for Nigerians (N4N) Movement to take back Nigeria.

According to him, the Nigeria for Nigerians, N4N, movement has been launched because it is time for Nigerians to take back their nation.

“There will be a change of government in 2023,” he said.

Buhari that is benefiting from the fraud of 1999 constitution will never agree to it. Allow south_south governors to finalise their current agenda.

It is an open secret. The defective-1999 constitution is the forced rules the vestigial reminants of the post-July 1966 northern military coup merchants imposed on this nation after their exit from political power in order to continue to dominate the politico-military and economic situation of this failed contraption.

So Buhari will never do it.Meanwhile, what is Tunde Bakare up to again after helping in foisting this catastrophe on this nation in the time past?

Which part of the constitution

tonyshine01:
[20/08, 20:18]

Download or buy a constitution this week and study it.

Chapters 2 and 4 will interest you I can assure you.

If you have one, have you seen the Shenanigans behind Sections 10, 15(2), 15(3c), 261(3a), 261(3bi&ii).

If you have the app, on the search button, search for some religious keywords and see which ones will appear then tell me if this is a Liberal constitution or not.
Perhaps it is a Constitution that needs to be destroyed and a new one developed. The entire chapter VII E (7E) of the constitution should not be there. Reason being Nigeria is a secular state. Religious matters should be handled by religious bodies not government.
Give what belong to Caesar to Caeser let him manage it the way he likes.
If you have the Nigerian Constitution, go through these sections without sentiments:

Section 227 and Hisbah.

Section 10 and the insensitive religious activities in Nigeria.

Section 39(1) and the arrested Channels presenters.

Section 6(5f & g)

Section 15(4) and Buhari's disposition to Nigeria.

Section 23 and religious intolerance.

Section 38(1) and religious intolerance.

For a secular and an egalitarian Nigeria as stated in section 10, The entire chapter 7E should be removed from the constitution.

Only those who are nepotistic will not see anything wrong with this chapter.

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Let those who owns these courts handle and manage the courts away from the government of Nigeria.

It's of course an elephant in the room. Truth be told, it's now a format by politicians to deceive the people into power. And when they get there, the greed would quickly make them adapt and start singing a new song. Nigerians need technocrats not this current crops of criminals called politicians.

The constitution was designed to cater for the rich and powerful only (the ruling class).

Their kids are all trustfund kids, feeding fat on our common wealth. Don't expect these unpatriotic lots to ever change the constitution.

Truly, the 1999 Constitution is one of our foundational problems.. That thing is clearly designed to favor a very small set of the population.

Southerners really allowed the northerners play a fast one on them in the early days of Nigeria.

With this unfair advantage, will the north ever allow room for constructive engagement

Restructuring and writing a new constitution that will be acceptable to all ethnic nationalities?

Time shall tell

CALLS FOR A NEW CONSTITUTION AS THE WAY FORWARD FROM A NEW START.

The entire chapter VII E (7E) of the constitution should not be there.

It should be removed.
