There’s something called court garnishee order. Once pronounced against an institution, company or government establishment, u don’t need the consent or authorization of whom it’s written against before u present it to a bank for the account to be debited. It’s an order from the court and must be honored.

How do u know this? Abi u be witch? Its not in the OP’s story. According to the narrative, d school claimed he was 60yrs, i.e due for retirement, then on compassion he was redeployed, to which he CONSENTED. So it seems someone convinced him he can make more money suing the school than working as a lecturer.
