I did play Far Cry 6 before I went to bed and in the game, dogs were attacking me. So maybe, just maybe that was was caused the dream, lol.

Last night I dreamt that a black dog was chasing me. What could it mean?

During my NYSC in Cross River state, I had a dream. In the dream, it's Friday/Saturday night meanwhile in reality it's Saturday/Sunday night.

And the dream goes thus, there was a communal clash (the village I am and another one) which leads to surrounding villages taking side with their favorite village, in short the whole thing leads to massive bloodshed.

But what surprised me most is that, in the dream, I saw the villagers taking oath that no matter what it will cost NO CORP MEMBERS in that village will be affected till the war will end.

I was so scared when I woke up, sweating seriously. When the day break, I narrated everything to my colleagues because my PPA has Corper's lodge. The astonished thing about it was that, while I was narrating everything to my colleagues, I remember I said: "I will tell this dream to Pastor tomorrow (Sunday) in Church to confirm the dream!"

NOTE: All these happened in the Dream!

But when I wake up in reality, it's Sunday morning which I have to prepare for service.

As usual, I went to church and the service went well but to my greatest surprises, after sharing grace and everyone was departing.

I just heard Pastor saying: "Please, tell everybody to come immediately. Devil is a liar"

After we all came, the Pastor proceed to say:"Please we need to pray, that I had a dream and the dream was given to me three times. In the dream, I saw two villages fighting that leads to massive bloodshed. I had the dream the first time, I woke up, prayed and slept, then the same dream came again like that three times."

In fact, I was dumbfounded and to be honest with you, I couldn't pray all the prayer points raised that day. How could me and another person in another location have the same dream at the same period? Was the question that was going through my mind.

When we came back to our lodge, I then told my colleagues the dream and what happened in the church, they were very surprised.

It's not up to two weeks, when fight actually broke out in some villages in one local government area of Cross River State called UGEP, though my village wasn't affected but the state government has to evacuate corps members in those affected areas and some corpers came to my village, when they narrated everything I was surprised to hear also that "the villagers vow that they will do everything within their power to ensure every corps members' safety."

Many lives were lost during that clash in 2012 if you listen to news then, you'd have read about it.

As the title implies "Do dream have meaning? Yes!

Though you might give it your own meaning but the deep things are still being revealed by God to His people.

I did not interpret the dream because I don't think dreams need interpreting, they are not secret messages. They are our brain using memories to create scenarios. Which is why I asked him if he had been thinking of certain things or have significant thoughts on dogs because these are the things the brain uses to present to us dreams.
