Yes bt not only the south west, the south east is also not ready to agree within themselves. The south west sees the south east as not politically mature or ready.

To prove this ask the south east who can they present as a candidate with nationalistic views, mid or high level of integrity and performance and good leadership skills. They can’t Present anybody. And if they present anyone same Igbos will rather sabotage such persons chances.

In otherwords the south east has their own internal disfunctional politics.

There is no part of Nigeria that does not have very competent people that can lead the country very well. Therefore, it is only Fair and Just that the leadership of the country should go round the 6 zones!

Just words which mean nothing when those at the helm and seats of power have agreed among themselves to keep this nation retrogressive or stagnant.

In the absence of a United revolution, forget these words Mr. Bakare!!! As long as certain regions continue to vote like zombies even for proven failures, there can be no leader of quality...

As long as Southerners remain divided, selfish, and moronic, forget progress!!!

In summary, Nigeria has long ceased to be United... We need to conduct a referendum, agree and part ways amicably!!! This is highly unlikely too, so we will more than likely continue down this path of retrogression.

Mr. Man, did you read this piece or just went straight to comment? Where the president come from is never our problem as a nation, our problem is having a competent person to man the leadership position, he said. He equally cited examples of the northern regions holding sway for close to 41 years all together and the north still impoverished while the south regions have held sway for running to 20 years and OBJ never did anything for the south west while GEJ failed the south south and South East.
If I may ask you, you will know he spoke just the truth?
However, due to religion and ethnic division among different regions I also subscribe to rotation of presidency from north to south and from south to the North and vice visa.
