Tami Hoag of the dark series; dark paradise, thin dark line, night sins, guilty as sin, dark horse et al. I love her books, love the way she mixes romance with a subtle amount of violence.
The first Micheal Connelly i read wasnt interesting so i dont read his books.
Have other authors like John Sanford of the 'prey' series, william diehl.
