When God shows u what u will be in the future, u have ur part to play too, to make it a reality(like following the path or God's instruction) otherwise, reverse would be the case.

Samson couldn't fulfil his purpose on earth, Moses and the Isrealites that murmured b4 God couldn't enter the promise land as God promised them. King saul Etc.

Showing you your future is so that you can walk inline with it. So that you won't make mistakes and go the wrong way.

This can be made known to you in dreams, vision, prophecy, etc.

Simple question deserve simple answer.

The reason is that when you over look what you saw, had or dream and you now find your self in round bottom flat, you will have no right to blame HIM
