Questions you should ask regarding linking DJ switch to the destruction.

* Was there any looting and destruction by those protesters at Lekki before 6pm on the 20th of October 2020?

* Did the army appear at the toll gate?

*Did the army shoot at unarmed protesters? If yes, then DJ Switch IG live was right.

* Are you saying immediately the looters watched DJ Switch IG live, they were propelled to rush to start looking?


My take is, Buhari and his army caused this whole thing, the youths were protesting SARS brutality specifically, and police brutality in general, the government chose to use violence to suppress it instead of doing something appropriate, every other criminal ( whether a peaceful protester before the shooting or not, as far as you joined in the vandalism) saw the opening and took it. They were able to get the army to shoot at unarmed protesters but not to get looters.

Buhari and his APC goons protested during the fuel subsidy thing, they were not shot at, so why are they angry someone else is aggrieved also?

Now, speaking about the judicial panels, the only seem to be working in Lagos and it is all about awarding monetary compensation, while the James Nwafor, his criminal deputy, Abba Kyari and the other killer policemen are all walking free. None has been arrested, let alone prosecuted.

Rather we have protesters arrested, their bank accounts blocked, some are in hiding while the police have continued with the brutality. Even EFCC now breaks down doors, jump fence, sneak in through the roots like bandits.

So what has the government really done to assuaged the youths?
