Obesity is an excessive body mass in an individual, every normal body mass has a normal density, but in large body mass the density of the body mass is very high. The body of the person increases, some

The body mass becomes higher than the normal, this, in other words is a 'high body weight' called 'Obesity'

Obesity is cause by a lot of factors, though studies have had it that parents who are obsessed have a high tendency of transferring the genes that causes excess fats to their children, so obesity can also be a genetic problem.

So it common to see a parent that is fat, having a child or children that are too fat ir obsessed

We have different types of obesity, there are the mild ones:  these increase in body mass are mildly normal and those of too much body fat, which of course you see that such person appears very big and fat_ such could pose a health hazard to the person

Hear these, a child that is obsessed have a higher tendency of being diabetic in future and such could lead to death at a younger age. I know of a girl of just 12 years, this girl kept adding weight and worst still the parents are not curtailing their child intake of sugary things, this girl died at the age of 15 years

An adult that keeps accumulating weight has a tendency of having diabetes: it goes from pre-diabetes to diabetes

Diabetes in adults especially the old, can also be the risk for other health challenges to arise like high Blood pressure

Now lets discuss things or lifestyles that predispose one to this health challenges

There are lifestyles that contribute to being obessed. In America the attitude of eating maybe a pack of pop corn, chocolate etc in front of the television has accounted for the cause of rise in obesity in children and adults, they have their eyes glued to the television, and keep eating and eating. This what I will discuss here as;

1. The television/Cinema syndrome

Though you may say, it doesn’t matter but it does, people tend to eat more of snack such as highly sugary popcorn, chocolates, lollypops, take ice cream

Sugary snacks

Watching an excited movies on the television or in a Cinema, and the habits of having either a pack of popcorn or chocolate

The person keeps eating in excitement, not knowing that the sugar level increases and before you know it, the person start gaining an abnormal weight that results to obesity

Sugary food related obesity is one that has posed threats to many people that find themselves in this category.

Food Nutritionist have warned about the need to lower the intake of sugary food by;

stopping the habit of eating sugary foods in front of the television or while in a cinema is good

A person can eat healthier snacks and even take healthier drinks containing natural substances like natural fruits drink’s like orange juice, drinks containing lime, ginger, etc instead of the drinks and snacks packed with sugar

Another thing I will highlight here for obessed children is what I call "the parent interference and factors".

Parents who have obsessed children should ensure they stop the intake of sugary foods and snack for their children

Yes, because these children don't have the knowledge that an adult have, all they want is to always eat that, which is very sweet

I watched a television program of a woman who a doctor she visited for her obessed son, asked her questions

The doctor said, "do you really love this boy"

She replied "yes"

So why cant you stop his high intake of chocolate, ice cream, biscuits etc, this is affecting his health, you are killing him- the doctor said being frank

This woman bursted into tears, and from then she did what the doctors advised her

This goes for adults, who are obessed, stop buying these sugary things in the family and make sure the family maintains a healthy balance

2. A second habit that causes increase in body fat is eating too much junks.

A higher number of the worlds population engaged in busy schedules, they depends on foods processed or cooked outside especially the fried snacks, fried chicken, highly spiced meat etc

We do so much in a hurry and we have no time to prepare healthy food, so many depend eating burger, fried chicken, friend chips etc at restaurant, fast food joints etc That how it goes, we keep taking more of these food, and before you know it, you can't do without them

Infact, this is a factor that has made some many obessed people find it even hard to control their intake because they are so much addicted to eating these foods

The portion of cholesterol gotten from such food is alarming and many people because of the high taste of such food can’t hold them selves

Always asking for more like “Oliver twist”

Nutritional research have likened the way people get so much addicted in eating junk food outside as the same way people that are addicted to the intake of alcohol and tobacco

You can just stop, because of it high taste and palatability, one will keep asking for more and before you know it, the person becomes very fat with time

At this point, there is need to stop, yes stop for health sake

The need to reduce the intake of fried foods is a step one can fight obesity

Instead of eating such, you request for boiled or grilled chicken or meat, talk about doing more boiling or grilling than frying.

And even taking time to cook at home using healthy food substances and healthy ways. Research has had it, that when people cook un their home they do more of boiling than deep frying. This is far better than for the health

Rather than eating food from fast food joints where they do so much frying, use unhealthy substances as food preservative to make their food very sumptuous but not healthy to health

3. Intake of alcohol

A lot of people take alcohol and many are so much addicted to alcohol. Alcohol is good for the system some may say, but 'moderation' should be the word

A bottle of alcohol contains about 22 cubes of sugar even more than the simple drinks. But most think alcohol is safe maybe because of it bitter taste

Alcoholic processed drink are prepared with a higher amount if sugar. Taking bottles of alcohol which is the case with many, endangers life and has been one of the cause of pot bellies in some men:

Some men have abnormal protruded  stomach.

The need to reduce or stop the high intake of alcohol is a good remedy for obesity induced by alcohol

4. Eating unbalanced diet

Eating unbalanced diet is one of the major reasons people are obsessed.

So many eat more of a class of food: the intake of more of sugary food, grains etc., Only results to high amount of carbohydrates and also can cause the risk of high sugar level.

Eating too much of fried food, processed and canned food etc are never good for the body system

Intake of balanced diet, okay let me quickly run a food questionaire I got on people

I went asking people what they took for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from the statistics gotten this people take more of carbohydrates

You see, that's a complete imbalance

There should be a healthy proportion of each classes of food to maintain good health

The intake of milk and dietary products which supplies calcium for bone and teeth

Eating fruits and Vegetables  supplies the required vitamins and minerals needed for the body, taking  lean meat, trimming of excessive fats from diary products etc

Healthy fruits, vegetables, and nuts

All these are combination that supplies the body with adequate vitamins, minerals and thus making the body mass grow with the required nutrients and minerals for a healthy living

5. Lack of exercise

So many people eat and eat junks daily, weekly and they don’t engaged in any form of exercise, the whole sugars and fats load in the body without any activity to stimulate the body for proper metabolism. The fats and the carbohydrates loads in the body

Some experience the frequent release of gas from the body as a result of indigestion of the fats and the carbohydrates in the body

The need to engage in exercise to burn excess fat of the system

Maintaining a routine exercise is one sure way of burning excess fats for people who suffer from obesity

When one engages in exercise it enables most of the undigested food substances to become digested, the body gets rid of toxins through waste products and the body mass reduces when the exercise triggered fat burning

This is a good step for obsessed people

Obesity is a killer because many people who are obsessed are either pre-diabetic that’s have a tendency of having diabetes in future or diabetes: having diabetes already

The death from diabetes trends to be high, so the need to adhere to ways at which we can reduce overweight and thus stay healthy

6. Lastly, having a health check, for an obsessed person

I know you see reasons you need to check what you eat, engage in activities that will help you

Then the need to always have a health check: to know what the glucose levels is, inorder to ascertain the risk factor and also check what one eats. The use of simple machine like On call glucose sugar check, accu check etc. This machine should be used at home for a regular check of the sugar level

The need after doing exercises, to check the weight, since such a person has decided to engage in exercise, there will be loss of those excess calories, and when one starts seeing that the weight is going down

It a sign of trying to reduce fats and stay healthy
