A CALL TO UNITY AS WE WORK TOWARDS THE NATION OF OUR DREAMS

The National President, National Union of Lagos State Students NULASS is calling on all Students and Youths across the Federation to unite as we work progressively towards the Nation of our Dream.

It is relevant that we understand as youths and torchbearers of the wonderful future of our nation that a lot rests on our shoulders as our dreams are the lifeblood that sustains our great nation. This is the reason why, I appeal to all members, youths, and stakeholders of this great nation of ours to employ peaceful means of dialogue in getting the justice our nation deserves from the labors of its heroes.

The significance of today can never be forgotten as it is forever etched as a mark to continue to strive for our great future & bring to accountability governance and the democratic rule of law. We as the prime association of youth stakeholders in the state understand our pain, temper and immeasurable urge to obtain justice and equality in our community but let us all refrain from breaking the peace that is entrenched in our constitution and community by acts of violence, warfare, hooliganism and other social maladies that puts our infrastructure, the precious life of fellow citizens and growing businesses at risk. No justice can ever be found in a disorderly society that throws structure and value to the wind, so let us continue to seek peaceful avenues to get our desires across and stand against violent acts that dilute our message.

I hereby charge youths to continue to be the symbol of exemplary ideals that stand as the bridge between our past and future. Please let's remember that our community is upheld by our actions. Let's seek peaceful dialogue.
