The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps of Oyo state reported that it has remanded a 61-year-old man, Olayiwola Rasak by name for allegedly raping a 15-year-old minor. An act which is contrary to Section 34(1) and punishable under section 34(2) of the Child Rights Law of Oyo State. According to the defence corps, Olayiwola has been remanded in prison on the order of Family Court, Iyaganku, Ibadan. The NSCDC Commandant, Michael Adaralewa, made this known on Friday in a statement by the spokesperson for the command, Oluwole Olusegun.
