The founder of Wilson Ejeben Foundation, Double Chief Willson Brume Ejeben, added another feather to his crown today, Friday 22/10/21, as he received the prestigious Outstanding Philanthropist Award. Chief Ejeben was presented this award by the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, Faculty Of Life Sciences, University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State.

The Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Professor N.J.E Orhue, while eulogising the Isio of Udu and Bobaselu of Ugbo Kingdoms, described him as a rare Philanthropist. He also revealed that the University of Benin, particularly the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, would forever be grateful to the CEO of Wilson Ejeben Foundation for his generosity, direct financial support and charitable acts to humanity, and most especially, for his generous gift of library and accessories.

On his part, Chief Ejeben thanked the department for the honour. He further noted that the award would spur him to do more. Ejeben stressed that Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world, according to Nelson Mandela. He advised the students
to make judicious use of the library and its accessories.
During the event Chief Ejeben also gave the Overall Best Student in Science Laboratory Technology , Miss Eseosa Melody Agbonifo fifty thousand naira and the best graduating student in Biotechnology Techniques Miss Aisosa Sam Oni twenty thousand naira respectively.
