[16]However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

Heavenly Father we are here for you, take charge over our lives, manifest your knighting in power through us to your glory. Cleanse us and make us superconductors of your current. Amen.

What better way to show mercy than to those who do not deserve it? We are perpetually under the accusation of death by the devil due to our sin and sinfulness, so the fact that you are alive, that alone is an indicator of God's mercy. But God doesn't stop there, He clothes you, protects you and provides for your needs. Only God can be so merciful. Even when we constantly wrong Him, He looks past it all and still loves us. Father we appreciate your grace and we do not take it for granted, please help us reciprocate. Amen.
