There is hardly any difference in MegaWatts of power supply between the pre-privitisation era and post privatisation era even as power supply still stagnates at 4000MW. Maybe the model upon which the power sector is built needs review, beyond mere awarding and revoking operating licences. Technical and policy expertise should be sustainable and taken seriously while seeking to address performance issues and power supply shortfalls.
