Should I Abort My Son? by siofra(f): 5:33pm On Oct 28, 2021 |
Dear nairalanders, I'm so confused right now, I don't even know where to start. I can't believe the day will come when I will consider this possibility. In as much as I'm pro choice, practicing it myself is a lot harder than I thought. I may consider aborting my son. And here are some of the reasons: 2. In Nigeria today, news of herdsmen and unknown gunmen fill the front page of nairaland, I wouldn't want to give birth to my son knowing that he may join them one day because he will. 1. Yahoo yahoo. Yahoo boys are extremely common in Nigeria today, 3 in 5 Nigerian boys today are into yahoo and they get involved in all sorts of blood fetish sacrifices. 4. Sex tape/nudes leak. Look at BBN Cross who 'mistakenly' leaked his nudes on Snapchat. How can I give birth to a son knowing he will one day become like Cross. Nigerian men are alarmingly immoral. Look at Tiwa's bf Boko Beckham. This man had the mind to video Tiwa Savage during their intimate moment and 'mistakenly' post it on Snapchat. Nigerian men have rotten and finish I weep for the future. 20. Nigerian politicians. An overwhelming number of Nigerian politicians are male. But take a look at this country, are you really proud of it. Imagine one person looting billions of naira yet he still has the mind to show up in public. Is this the kind of men my son will look up to? 28. Redpillers. Jesus!!!! These ones are the worst. I don't even need to talk about them. If you're on nairaland, you already know how extremely dangerous their ideologies are. 44. Finally, do you know more than half of the crimes committed in the world today are done by men?? Now with these 44 points, do you think it's safe to have a male son? When I'm pregnant and I discover it's a boy should I abort the child? Please advice me good people of this great forum!!

44 points keh! Madam, you have every right to abort it without making it a puplic debate. But do you know what? Out of 1 in 5 guys you sleep around with is either Yahoo boy, Bandit, Uknown gunmen and even Porn star. Be watchfull darling. |

Nairaland is slowly going to the dogs . Just imagine this nonsense. How can people be this desperate for attention....? Some will just post rubbish all in the name of boredom and stupidity. But its not their fault sha. Had it been oga Seun used IQ test as a means of application on this forum , none of this nonsense would have happened . 4 Likes 1 Share |

siofra:Valid points even if I sense a bit of trolling That said, would you rather have a girl who will be preyed on by these flawed men? It's a catch 22 situation. So how about this instead? Raise whatever you are given to be of value to the society and whatever gender they choose to build a life with. And advocate for both sides to raise children who eschew those vices and their drivers that you have listed up there. Advocate for people not to have kids if they are trapped themselves in poverty. If they have children, to limit it to the numbers they can provide for. To plan for the future, life expectancy in Nigeria is low, plan for your family if something happens to you- life insurance for example. Also both partners working so they can be each others back up. I could go on and on but typing isn't a really a strong suit of mine. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Aborting a girl in my opinion is the right thing to do. I can't stand her if she ends up being with a yahoo boy. Imagine boys using her head for rituals, how will i protect her from these evils in our society. How about rape? How will i protect her from rapists in our society Can't stand her if she ends up dressing naked just to proof a point or ends up sending nude pictures to one boy or having sex tapes. Can't stand her if she ends up pregnant for one useless man. I am more afraid to give birth to a female child than a male child. 1 Like |
