Afamed:My brother trust me population has nothing to do with it, Ghana population is about 31m up from around 19m in 2001 with a landmass of 235,000km² Nigeria with >201m up from 119m in 2001! on a landmass of 923,000km² India population 1.38 billion up from 1.075billion in 2001 yet the unemployment rate is still kept low and even lowered to 6.86% from 8.32% in August. The black devil people managing Nigeria have made up their minds to punish the masses by successfully making the country the poverty capital of world. Very reckless! imagine population almost doubling in the space of just 2 decade! In the midst of endemic (pandemic) poverty! Not wealth o... They are mostly preoccupied with looting away the common wealth including the loans borrowed from advanced country into tax safe havens like Panama. 4 Likes |

Afamed:stop reasoning dust. population should be an asset and not liability. It is only in Nigeria that population is seen as a liability. Go and Google ghana budget for education alone. Do you know that the budget for education alone in Ghana is bigger the the budget of defense, education and one other ministery combined 3 Likes |

Look let's be realistic and practical when looking at the Nigerian political space. It's almost impossible to pair two politicians of the same fath on a presidential ticket. it just won't work in today's Nigeria regardless of how competent the duo might be. This in my opinion makes the Tinubu candidacy unviable. Are you going to pair him with another northern Muslim? Or are you going to pair him with a northern Christian? I doubt if the APC would take that risk |

There is no way north can present a Christian candidate as Tinubu”s running mate .I have said it many times that anybody campaigning for Tinubu is just wasting his or her time. There is no way a Muslim Muslim ticket can work out come,2023,this is not 1993. You see those SWAGA,UNGA campaigning for Tinubu just wants to have their own share of national cake . 3 Likes 1 Share |

Aufbauh: There's nothing parochial about it sir. You're most likely a free-minded individual, most likely a non-practicing Christian, but what people like you refuse to understand is that religion plays a huge rule in the political inclination and policy creation of each regime. A Muslim-Muslim ticket would trigger less sensibility to issues regarding Christians, like religious violence and persecution of the Church and Christians in the north, a Christian-Christian ticket would also trigger Islamic organizations and leaders to attribute any decision made in the country to the religious orientation of the presidential office holders. Take it or leave it, your current position does not in any way apply to the polity we have in the country. So you need to understand that true intelligence involves knowing what works in each society and what doesn't.... 3 Likes |
