The party structure of the two major parties will throw up evil leaders come 2023. There is no hope in any of them. It is just a case of seizing power or retaining power to perpetuate greed, elitism, and enshrine mass servitude. Untill the people have one voice, one expectation and one demand, irrespective of ethnicity and religion, for removal of the political status quo, it would only get worse. Take note, I said irrespective of ethnicity and religion, and not political inclination. The era of political parties effecting changes is long gone. Constant cross carpeting of major political players is never based on ideological principles, but on pecuniary reasons. Mass movement inspired restructuring that will place power of economic determination in the hands of the people. This will be very uncomfortable with the selfish, corrupt, deceitful, wicked, politically promiscuous politicians. But who cares. They have brought this country to her knees. 5 Likes |

NIGERIANS ARE CRYING FOR EVERYTHING COOKING GAS ELECTRICITY AND ALL FOOD ITEMS. ISN'T THAT WHY THE NASS APPROVES N1000 DAILY, N30'000 MONTHLY FOR FOOD ONLY TO PRISONERS. WHEREAS THE FREE CITIZENS DOING THE WORK TO KEEP BODIES AND SOULS TOGETHER ARE EARNING LESS THAN N30'000 PER MONTH TO FEED AND PAY FOR THESE UTILITIES. THE NASS MUST GO BACK TO SCHOOL. |

According to Nancy Adenike, who resides in Ipaja area of Lagos State, “two weeks ago, I bought my 12.5kg for N7,200; the same day by evening it had become N7,500.” Nigerians are the enemies of themselves |

The problem Nigeria is facing now are all due to mismanagement of public funds and misplaced priorities by the Government. Nigerians should be protesting against inflation of goods and services not the Endsars shit. It sad our government is so dead and dumb as they will never sit to resolve the impending issues facing the country. The country is hard brother. |

another1: All of the "investigations" contained in this long report is how much it is sold in various states and what "Paulina" said, and how "Donatus" lamented, etc. Shouldn't this investigation have extended to unearthing the real fact behind the wanton increase in the cost of the commodity Same thing with the cost of staple food items: beans, yam, tomatoes, etc. Beans has become gold that only the rich can afford. News media only report the news of the increase and of course, blame it on the government's "bad policies". But i have not seen one that investigates the root cause of any of these increases. Which policies are specifically responsible for the high cost of gas and food? What aspects of the supply chain are impacted by these "bad policies"? What should the government do to ameliorate the situation that they are not doing currently doing? What should the prople do? Questions like this and more answered in a well written article is how the media stimulates public discourse that can lead to public policy improvements. |
