I am sure 90% of them never knew it happened people that are confused about their identity is it their history they will know? When you blood brothers across the Niger sit a home every may 30th to remember their heroes who died in the Biafran war, over 1000 of your men where mudered in cold blood by the terrorists Nigerian army in 1967 just because you you speak the same language with the so called southeast brothers, just like a Nigeria you have no respect for your fallen heroes odiegwu.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

bigpriik: Sometimes you shouldn't allow emotions to becloud your sense of reasoning. Delta is a heterogeneous state made up of several ethnicities. Worse still, these same ethnicities cried blood when Asaba was made the state capital against their wish for Warri to be used. Out of the 4 major ethnic groups in the state, 3 wanted Warri to be used as capital instead of Asaba. After considering all the factors I mentioned above, do you still consider your wish for Anioma people to lockdown Asaba as an altruistic one? |

In as much as it's good to remember the past, it's not favourable to dwell in the past. It keeps you away from a meaningful future. Look at what dwelling in 1967-70 has done to the igbos politically. Asaba Massacre happened. We all know that. Let's forget ahead. |

Op the reason is that Anioma as a group is still dealing with identity crisis. Also if you read about the history of the Asaba massacre, you will find out something terrible was done by some Anioma people against Asaba people. Some Anioma people have blood in their hands. They joined the enemy because they wanted to prove that they are not igbos. 1 Like |

bigpriik: They do remember the dead in their own way, but believe me, their hands are tied at the moment. Had it been Anioma is a state, they too would be in lockdown just like other Igbo states. 4 Likes |

Kissiemu: You mean has done to the Igbo politicians? Because as it stands now every average Nigerian from Sokoto to Lagos are facing the heat of this poor governance. The hardship does not spare anyone, whether Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa. So please you would be right to say that Igbo politicians have missed out from the massive looting going on at the center. |

You just want to open a can of worms. The whole of the Country has not recovered from the War. People around Asaba, Igbo or Igboid faced massacre from both Biafra and Nigerian soldiers. Ask General Ejor if you can wake him up 1 Like |
