It's not enough to rescue. They need to ensure it never happens around Abuja again. It's a shame to all Security apparatus for over 30 armed men loiterred around undetected until the kidnapped incident.

Why must Nigerian forces always have to be reactive or defensive when it comes to Fulani kidnappers, Fulani heardsmen and Fulani Bandits? They are in the bushes you know where they are, if you don't, ask gumi. Why not attack them? Instead you wait for them to strike then react.
An offensive force is what is needed. And they know what to do. But it seems they are offensive when it concerns SE, SW.

To all insinuating that ransom was paid, do you ever have faith in your security agencies?

We should have faith in them. Especially with their glorious track record. Why not?
