Popular actor, comedian & content creator, Debo Adedayo also known as "Mr Macaroni" has given reasons why he declined an invitation to visit Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Some popular skitmakers: Maryam Apaokagi (Taooma); Josh Alfred (Josh2funny); Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba); Adebamiro Adeyanju (Mr. Hyenana) and Adeoye Adeyemi Elesho (Yemi Elesho), were among a delegation who met the Vice President yesterday.

The VP was later presented with an awards insignia.

"Daddy Wa" as he is fondly called, bared his mind via a social media microblogging site.

I'm sure you are a novice in how politics works. The VP has little or no constitutional powers, and that is universal in many countries of the world. The only VP that did gra gra was Atiku, and you may be too young to remember how OBJ dealt with him.

Politics is a game of wit, tact, and knowing when to bid your time if you want to last long and play big. But if you want to running up and down like Atiku, you can try your luck.

Anyway listening to Pastor Adeboye today he said we are actors and actress in God big stage and if we don't play our part we do get replace shikena ... Religion aside , performance aside you should always respect authority and give them their accolade, it is not the man you are respecting but the office he occupy and you never can say time and chance can put you in that office, would you want to be disrespected, by some small boy, who doesn't understand the fact that you are bless and divinely choosing among 120million Nigerians to be in that office and that is no coincident.

I think that is where you are getting it wrong.

Respect authority that has lost the very essence of his responsibility towards the masses?

The office was designed for the masses not the masses for the office.

Actually if there is anyone to be asked to respect the office, it should be those occupying the position. They have desecrated the office and have used it as a tool of oppression. As it stands today in Nigeria there is no single office that hasn't been desecrated.

So on what ground should the masses respect the office when those that are supposed to uphold the sanctity of the office are hiding behind it to perpetuate all kind of atrocities against those they sworn to protect?

On the part of being a divine intervention, this is an indication of the level of brainwashing going on in my dear country Nigeria.

These men steal not just your future but that of your unborn generations and in order to stop you from rising against them. They tell you that it is by God's doing that they are placed where they are as such God knows why and judgement should be left for Him. You swallow their lies while they keep plundering and ruining your future. This was the same playbook used by those that brought religion to Africa. They used it as a ploy to rape Africa of her resources.

When will you guys wake up and see things for what they are?
