Please house, I have a battery someone set up for me, it was made of ordinary cells (the types found in power banks and laptops). It is 16 volts. I used it with both suoer and luminous Inverters and it worked well and also lasted well.

I want to continue using this battery. Meanwhile, my problem is that it only charges very only when I charge it with AC power.

I have 4 pieces of 150W mono panels, arranged in parallel - which I normally use to charge my Amaron Quanta 200ah battery, with Raggie PWM 12V controller. This controller apparently cannot charge the 16v battery as it can only read a maximum of 14.8 (which only shows up when it has fully charged a 12v battery while the sun is blazing). For the 16v battery, even when it is dead, it still reads maximum on the controller.

I heard there are controllers which enable the user access to determine the battery voltage. I want to buy mppt controller, and I have seen Phoenix, Epever Triron series and a few others I can't recall.

I need an advice from experienced house members.

If it's possible to modify the the cells by reducing it from 16v it might be better because getting an appropriate inverter/charger will be a challenge

I'd tell him to reduce it to 12V then. Although it works with 12V Inverters, my 12V rated controller couldn't appropriately charge it. I was thinking I would find one that does.

Please be careful with that decision. You cant charge a 12v Lithium ion battery with your regular inverter or SCC except you can set Start/Stop voltage on them.

Overcharging Lithium ion could be disastrous.

If you have 2 of them and can put in series to form 24v then you can try certain MPP variants GK or the new PIP Max as they charge up to 33v

It's already in 16v. The inverters I currently own are 12v. Maybe the battery should be made to be 12v. I plan to get Epever Triron3210 MPPT SCC

Good Morning bosses in the house. Abeg, I need your help. #Desperate

I need a budget-friendly inverter setup for charging my laptop, mifi and phones.

I would need to power my laptop for about 18 hours daily.

And since my laptop lasts for about 3 hours, I would need an inverter that can last for 6 hours or there about.

Total Load: 75-90W (Laptop consumes 65W)

I was thinking of getting a 65 ah battery (720 W). Since it's recommended not to drain the battery below 50%. I would be able to get about 350W from the battery from a full charge (dunno, if I'm correct).

So, I'm currently looking for where to get a top-quality 65 ah battery and other devices I'd need to set it up.

I'm currently in Oyo. Although, I can be in Lagos if need be, I'd prefer to get everything I need close to where I am or if it can be way billed to my side.
