ISIS and Taliban were created by US. However, they created Taliban to fight Soviet union out of Afghanistan and Taliban fought and chased them out of their land, later US deliberately turned to fight what they created. Afghanistan people are extremely resistant to foreign invasion, they're resilient... they've been fighting against crusader invasion from Britain to Russia and US.
