You can not help but shake your head after reaing this disheartening statement, it's like they just sat for months and at the end of the day went back to square one to admit that they came up empty-handed with no proof of anything.

They admitted that they did not investigate and did not collect or examine any crime ecene evidence, but abracadabra, they still manage to claim that people died at the toll gate, no proof, no facts, no forensic evidence, no identification of the victims and they did not tie them to the toll gate.

They looked at corpses tagged endsars and concluded that they died at the toll gate even though they collected endsars corpses from all over the state.

Furthermore, they tasked the panel to investigate what transpired, but they in fact admitted openly to the world that they did not investigate a damn thing and they did not collect and analyse any evidence from the crime scene.

This is why Nigeria is the way it is and why we are burdened with too many incompetent people.

The FORENSIC EVALUATION declaration made by the panel in the report is a serious indictment on the panel which makes reasonable mind question if it was by spiritual revelation they arrived on the conclusions they made. That declaration therewith rubbish the conclusion of the report and will make any competent Judge worth his or her salt dismiss the findings of the report in court of law.

NB..like the panel saying we arrived at this conclusion but we did not followed the ideal and standard process which we ought to have followed to arrive at any conclusion at all!

So far, only one person died at Lekki and it was not due to fatal shooting by the soldiers. This report is untidy. I wish they are more thorough. We all want to know who died in Lekki so we can join others to demand justice for them but we are being frustrated by the percieved incompetence the OP is raising in the report.
If you have facts from the report to counter it, please bring it forward. As it stands now, there's no massacre anywhere and not even Lekki. This report just gave a seal to the claim by FG that the alleged lekki incident is a massacre without dead bodies.

Nairaland is looking for traffic and no mainstream media , including Channels TV, fell for the irresponsible way Seun is pushing a narrative to beat other platforms for the traffic on EndSars report. They once allowed a social media agenda to hijack truth but this time, they will study the report line by line before making any report. Some of the points raised by OP is already a source of concern for the mainstream media because they can't manufacture untruth brazenly like the social media and Seun's Nairaland without facing the consequence.

He and his friends are jumping up and down trying to find holes in the report, yet he and they had no issue whatsoever with the army when they completely changed their story 4 times.
