A video emerges showing how a man takes out a very long and big snake from a water cistern toilet that reportedly bites and killed NAF Personnel, Bercy while sitting on her toilet in Abuja on Nov 20, 2021. Pls It is advisable we pour salt or any other anti reptiles chemical in our toilet bowl to scare away any hidden reptile that might have gain access into the bowl.

It is unfortunate.The snake must have gained access through openings in the exhaust pipe,reason why it should always be covered with a iron gauze or mesh.

We are approaching dry season,a period when snakes becomes more active and seek out places including homes in order to regulate their body temperature.

I think the toilet the was dark when she attempted to use it.

For real?

Even a black mama's bite can afford you 20 minutes to get to the hospital (and we don't have black mamba here). This lady had about 30 minutes to one hour to get antivenom shots and live but she didn't get it. Either because
1. The hospitals didn't have any(or the appropriate antivenom shot)
2. She was being treated with traditional method while her window for survival was closing.

Sad to die this way

The scarcity of anti venom in Nigeria hospitals should be treated as an emergency
