They start to have sense the moment they're out of government position. I no longer listen to people like Jega and co who are only looking to be satiated into silence and sycophancy the moment they're being fed the looting pipe to loot their share. I call on Nigerians not to fall for all these gimmicks. Jega has realigned with someone whom he's hoping will take over from Buhari and in the event that that person wins, Jega will disappear into oblivion again until he's cut off from the source. 1 Like 1 Share |

For jega to have come up with this statement now, is late but nevertheless nothing it is never late than never. He should have spoken up on re structuring while he was in office. But then, a new Nigeria is what we pray and clamour for. The current structure this led administration and is sisters in politics are running is outrightly bad and it can only become more worse day by day. Nothing new you bring into the system will fail, the structure is too bad. Come 2023, no one should expect a miracle because as this government and leadership cannot think outside the box. Infact, leading Nigeria through a progressive path will be difficult. Until we think re structuring then things will become to open up. However, this leadership and it's principal are not ready yet. Seeing Nigerians suffer is part of their agenda not for Nigeria citizens to enjoy divided of democracy. |

Omooba77: Buhari people believe that proceeds from crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger Delta to the north May decrease after political restructuring of Nigeria. So who expects Buhari-led government to lead political restructuring of Nigeria until Nigeria finally collapses and disintegrates? |

Uchek:That guy you quoted is correct. Igbos were once in total control of Nigeria after independence. The whiteman that colonized Nigeria handed Nigeria over to Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, but Zik was just after nationalist interest, to be regarded as the father of Africa instead of to be realistic, so he allowed Tafawa Belewa rule as Prime Minister while he acted as the President with no powers. Zik even wanted Cameroon as part of Nigeria. He never liked the idea of regionalism or tribalism, he was being foolishly nationalistic and not realistic. He rejected the addition of secession clause in the almagamation clause which would have made it easier for any region to hold on to when seeking to secede from Nigeria. Zik never represented the interest of Igbos, and thats why Igbos never celebrated him to date unlike Awolowo who was more of a regionalist fighting mostly for the interest of the Yoruba tribe, which is why Yorubas celebrate Awolowo till date. |

Jega is right. Buhari and his ruling cabal are not interested in restructuring. In fairness to them, they have made this blatantly clear so no need flogging a dead horse. Up to Nigerians to elect the President who whas the political will and clout to deliver restructuring that will move every region of Nigeria forward quickly and permanently. |

Nasiru ElRufai of Kaduna State, VP Osinbajo of Nigeria, many patriotic Nigerians, Chief Edwin Clark, Many Prophets and Apostles including fmr President Obasanjo, Afenifere, Ohanaeze, Pandef, Middle Belt Group, Prof. Atahiru Jega etc have asked for full autonomous policing, resource control and elections control for our 36 or now required 42 Constitutional States, but The NASS has refused to hear them. Please The NASS should now do what the people of Nigeria are asking for. God bless Nigeria. Amen. |
