For God to use a person effectively (and every one born of the Spirit can be used by God), that person have to come to the end of him/herself.

Jonah came to the end of himself while he was in the belly of the fish. A prophet being rebellious towards God and claiming to know God more than God Himself (for he said that he knew that God will not destroy the city because He is merciful).

Then the four lepers (2 Kings 7:3-9) came to the end of themselves and decided to take a step of faith in walking to the camp of the enemy. Their little steps sounded like the noise of great army approaching the camp of the enemy and the enemy panicked and ran away abandoning their tents and leaving all their horses, donkeys, silver, gold and clothing. The lepers on getting there not only have a free dinner but also took possession of the abandoned riches left by the Syrian army. God used their seemingly little strength to achieve so much for his people Israel - for the siege of the Syrian army was lifted and food was again restored in abundance.

The prophesy of the man of God - Elisha as receive from God came to pass because these lepers have come to the end of themselves and took a seemingly natural step that God now used to accomplish supernatural deliverance for his people.

The question for you and me is "Have you come to the end of yourself?, or has fear incapacitated you to the point that you are holding up a fulfillment of prophesy for you, your family or a whole nation?.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will enlarge this word in your heart and may He shed His light at every area of our life. Oh that the Blood of Jesus will set you free today to believe God enough to abandon all and do as He alone has commanded you to do in Jesus name.
