Accolades have been showered on the Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, Federal Representative of Atakumosa East and Ilesa East/West Constituency.

These were contained in different addresses of speakers today at the agricultural empowerment programme organized by Honourable Lawrence Ayeni titled "Survey and Distribution of Empowerment Tools for Rural Farmers in Atakumosa West/East and Ilesha West/East federal Constituency" in Ilesa, Osun State.

Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni appreciated constituency leaders and urged members-beneficiaries of the constituency to put the equipment to good use.

He said similar gesture would be extended to other select farmers in the next two weeks and in subsequent sections.

The Osun State All progressive Congress Chairman, Prince Gbenga Famodun appreciated the members of the party for their for sending the right person to representative them at the Federal level.

The APC Chairman, who was duly represented by the state Treasurer, Prince Femi Kujenbola said, "Honourable is quite doing a great work for the people, so I urge them to vote for the Ìlérí Olúwa party in the next coming election because nobody could have done it better than him."

While speaking with newsmen, Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni said the empowerment was born out of his initiative to touch rural people's lives courtesy of the fact that majority of these people practice agriculture.

"Unlike their urban counterparts, we have distributed equipment like hair dryers, sewing machines and other equipment they dire need to", he partly said.

Mr. Gabriel Richard form Atakumosa West, who was one of the beneficiaries said," we are so grateful to Honourable Babatunde for what he is doing for us. We are so happy to be amongst the people who are beneficiaries of this empowerment."
