POLITICSNIGERIA.COM The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) – brainchild of Industrialist, philanthropist and founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has provided a grant of 2.5billion Naira to the Edo State Government towards the equipping of the New Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City currently being reconfigured, upgraded, and expanded to a 250-bed specialist hospital. This donation makes Edo State the fourth state after Sokoto, Ogun and Kwara states to receive a 2.5billion Naira grant from ASR Africa’s 10bn Naira Tertiary Healthcare Systems Support Grants Scheme for 2021 drawn from the Annual ASR Africa $100million Fund for Social Development and Renewal. https://politicsnigeria.com/asr-africa-supports-edo-state-with-n2-5-billion-grant-for-health-development/ 2 Likes

By next three months all the funds will be in different accounts for unjustified reasons!! Properties such as SUVs, House Purchase, gallivanting around the globe, spending quality time with side Chicks for the male politicians and spending heavily on jewelries for the female counterparts.. Nigerian politicians are Silly Dossers! 4 Likes |

It’s sad that rather than citizens to be excited, they are rather not because of the failed leadership we have spread across the country. This is really saddening indeed! What can we the citizens do to make it impossible for political leaders to make a fool of us by willfully doing as they care with public funds? If this question can be answered, then we will begin to say we are humans. Imagine also pre-Oshiomole era when he was a labor leader, you’d think he was indeed concerned about the people, fast forward to the time he had an encounter with a poor petty trader, then you’d realize his true person as he made the then famous “go and die” comment at her. Typically, that is what all our political leaders tell us everyday, directly or indirectly, “go and die”, because we gave them the opportunity to lead us. Isn’t that an ironic form of gratitude? What can the citizens do to stop this wickedness |
