Ndokwa Nation Kicks Over Alleged Denial Of Higher Institution by 007David(m): 3:46pm On Dec 03, 2021
The people of Ndokwa/Ukwani have accused the Ifeanyi Okowa administration of denying them a tertiary institution.
Ndokwa youth leaders spoke in a statement after a meeting with the governor.
Among others, they discussed the completion and take-off of Aboh polytechnic
Okowa’s predecessor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, reportedly approved the state polytechnic in Aboh, headquarters of Ndokwa East.

At the meeting with Coalition of Ndokwa Youth leaders, the governor reportedly said his administration could not afford to fund any major project as my “tenure winds down.” The coalition wondered if Ndokwa was not part of the state where the governor had established higher institutions across ethnic nations but allegedly left out the three local governments of Ndokwa.

According to the coalition, the governor, who hails from Owa-Alero, had attracted infrastructure to his place
President General of Anioma Youth Council Worldwide Marcus Enudi regretted that Ndokwa, which lays the golden eggs, had not got what is due to it.

The senator representing Delta North Peter Nwaoboshi, through his senior legislative aide, Philip Elueme, called on Ndokwa people to sustain the peace.
He noted that the Federal Government would soon reverse the dreary fortunes of the land by ending the age-long neglect and deprivation of the people.

The legislative aide said President Muhammadu Buhari would sign the bill establishing the federal university of agriculture and technology, Aboh (FUATA).
Elueme said the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had always seen Ndokwa “as good for votes only”, adding that Nwaoboshi was concerned about the pains the people were going through.
He noted that soon they would be free from their despondency and poverty occasioned by the dearth of capacity and empowerment.

Elueme called on the youth to support Nwaoboshi, noting that he had done well in the Senate more than their other representatives.

‘’The FUATA bill, which awaits the President’s assent, took a lot of consultations in the red chambers and beyond in an effort by the senator to rewrite the pitiable history of the Ndokwa people’’.
He acknowledged the efforts of Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege and other well-meaning Ndokwa sons and daughters, in the passage of the bill.

“The Ndokwa project is Nwaoboshi’s project, and he owes the people their entitled quality representative and this accounts for why he must be returned to the Senate…” Elueme said.
