I only observed that Kenyan’s shillings are greater that our naira. Example- $50000= 5Million Shillings. While the same $50000 is worth over 10million Naira

Ryda:
1. The picture of a footbridge opening in Kenya.

Corruption, mediocrity and stupidity all captured in one photo.
A total of of 5 million Kenya shillings (50,000 USD) was set aside to build this footbridge in Kirinyaga County in Kenya.

The bridge was there before, just rusty.
So they painted it blue (or whatever colour it is) and the Governor came to inaugurate it.

As you can see it's already rusty again.

The guy whistling there to inaugurate the ‘grand mega project', was the cabinet secretary in charge of infrastructure in the county.

2. Vihiga County Governor Moses Akaranga officially opening mud houses.

3. Isaac Ruto, the former Governor Bomet reportedly made a trip upcountry to officially launch a cattle dip. The whole project reportedly cost 50,000 Kenya shillings (500 $).

4. Inauguration of DSTV installation complete with a plaque.

5. Maara South Member of Parliament launching an electricity transformer and electric pole in his constituency.

6. President Uhuru Kenyatta inaugurating a public toilet in Machakos County.

I used to think that African countries were victims of Western nations but then I realized that Africa is where it is today because of their corrupt leaders

Even back then during the slave trade, it was African leaders who allowed it. Till this very day, most African leaders exploit their people for their own personal benefit

What’s the difference?? Aves of same species tends to conjugate
Shebi Kenya still inaugurated a repainted steel bridge, what about Nigeria that inaugurated a wooden bridge that was constructed with woods that almost qualifies as sugar cane stems
Hahaha ,the pot calling the kettle black. Both countries are same corruption wise.

True, all races have their share of people who sell their own, but at least in the West, there are systems in place to ensure accountability

You can hardly see a politician abuse his place to garner wealth in the West, even the president. Their salary is all they get. Africa is a different story

African policians get bribes and prevent money from trickling down to the economy. Very few African leaders actually care about their people. Look at Rwanda today. Nigeria has so much potential to be where Rwanda is but see where it is today and things are sadly only getting worse by the day

Corruption even happens among common people in Nigeria

I'm telling you. Africans are a victim of themselves. If people cared about their own people's progress, not only their personal pockets, Africa won't be where it is today
